I kid you not, for the e-n-t-i-r-e summer and into the fall & winter months, Landon talked non-stop about his 'car' birthday party. There was no question in his mind at all about whether he was actually having one. His only question was 'when?' Luckily for him, Josh and I had been collecting ideas perfectly fit for our racecar-loving little boy and were ready to see what we had only envisioned in our minds' eye, come to life.
The highlight of the event was the custom built race car track Josh built, inspired by Gwynn Wasson Designs. The guests had so much fun racing Matchbox cars down the track. Equally enjoyed by our pint-size racers was the life-size roadway & Little Tikes cars for cruising.
I loved the bright red & yellow color palette, with splashes of the traditional black & white checkered racing pattern. We used Gwynn to design our party printables and the invitation we used.
We hope you enjoy the pictures!

This is so AWESOME!!! Kudos to your hubby for building the track. Where in the world did you get the roadway for the little tykes vehicles? Your tons of effort will be the most wonderful memory for your little one.
Where did you find the orange track for the race track? Thanks! Ashley_phil310@yahoo.com
